Phang Nga Bay is a bay between Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi known for its limestone rock formations. Most visitors explore the area in a one-day tour, but some larger islands have accommodation available.
There are dozens of small islands between Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi. The following have accommodation:

We have recently returned from Phuket and during our stay we did a day trip to Phang Nga Bay. We were picked up on time, dropped off at the Royal Phuket Marina and set off on our trip by speed boat (water, soft drinks and juice provided). First stop was at an island for a swim and some photo opportunities, then we travelled to where we would go on the sea canoes for sight seeing in and around a part of the bay (you don't have to paddle, the work is done for you). This was incredible scenery, with rock formations and lots of greenery (especially so for us as we live in a very dry state in Australia), laying down in the canoe and having the rock face pass over your nose as you travel along was of an interesting experience (probably not for anyone who may be claustrophobic). You did see James Bond island and I must say I did think we would have gotten a better view of it but I needed to wait. Our cameras didn't stop clicking and our canoeist also took photos of my husband and a I together which was great to have. Our guide had suggested to us that if we were happy with our canoeist we could give him a tip which was good to be told. We then got back onto the speedboat and headed to the Muslim floating village for lunch. Buffet lunch was delicious with drinks provided (water and soft drink), I would have liked the opportunity to wander around the village but we were not able to do this from where we had our lunch, there were a few shops we could access for souvenirs but found that you could purchase these cheaper in a Phuket if you wanted, but I suppose these people rely heavily on tourism for an income and realistically you are only talking what I consider minor $ amounts difference. Then it was onto James Bond Island for a stop off, a bit of climbing for photo opportunities but nothing to hard.....amazing but a lot of people and beware of the lady selling the T-shirts, she got hold of my husband and wouldn't let him go until he bought a shirt ($4 AUD) but it was worth it to make sure he got to the boat in time to leave!! She was lovely though and we had a good laugh with her. Our last stop was another swimming opportunity with a snorkelling option and the water here was crystal clear and had cocktails on the beach in pineapples and coconuts, just like in the movies.
